Booking & payment terms

Securing a private booking

The standard booking payment is 40% of the confirmed quotation total. A date is confirmed only after the quotation / booking terms are accepted and the required booking payment is received.

Balance timing

Portrait and Matric balances are normally due 48 hours before the session.

Traditional Event, Wedding and private Sports / General Event balances are normally due 7 calendar days before the event.

Corporate, school and institutional clients may use agreed purchase-order, supplier or invoice terms.

Cancellation & rescheduling

Please communicate changes as early as possible. Where South African consumer law applies, any cancellation charge will be assessed reasonably in the circumstances, considering the notice given, work or costs already incurred and whether the reserved date could reasonably be rebooked.

One weather-related Portrait / Matric reschedule may transfer without an additional booking fee when weather would materially affect the session and a mutually available replacement date is agreed.

Additional coverage

• Portrait / Matric: R700 per additional 30 minutes.
• Traditional Event / Wedding: R1,300 per additional hour.
• Corporate / Sports: R1,000 per additional hour.

Additional coverage is subject to photographer availability and may require a custom quote where the scope changes materially.

Delivery

Standard delivery is a curated set of professionally edited high-resolution JPEG photographs. RAW / unedited files, duplicate frames and technically weak images are not part of standard delivery.

Private online galleries normally remain available for at least 60 days after delivery. A best-effort archive of final delivered files is normally kept for approximately 12 months, but clients remain responsible for downloading and backing up their photographs.

Usage & privacy

Private-client packages include normal personal use such as personal printing and social sharing. Commercial usage should be stated in the quotation.

Client photographs are not automatically approved for Mpumzabashuthe portfolio or advertising use merely because a service was purchased. Permission is obtained where marketing use is required.
